Pulhapanzak is a 140 foot waterfall in Honduras. It's name is Mayan for white river overflow. It is formed from Rio Lindo falling off a high cliff.
I visited Pulhapanzak on one of my vacations in Honduras. I grew up visiting family there every year since I was a baby. What amazed me the most about this amazing gigantic waterfall was how powerful it is.
It felt so revitalizing to be in a pool at the bottom and watch the river drop. It's hard to describe the feeling of amazement being able to be there.
This painting was a way for me to relive that powerful, cleansing, vital experience of being in my parent's homeland in the most beautiful place I've ever seen.
